Listening Comes First
If I am elected, my job will be to represent this entire division properly.
That means understanding what matters in Brightlingsea, Alresford, Thorrington, Elmstead Market and Great Bentley, not just the issues that are loudest online.
I am not running a campaign based on slogans.
I want to understand:
Where services are falling short
Where infrastructure is under pressure
What priorities differ between villages
What people feel is being overlooked
The best way to do that is simply to ask.
Share Your Priorities
There is a short form below where you can:
• Highlight specific local issues
• Flag ongoing service problems
• Suggest areas I should investigate
• Raise concerns about infrastructure or safety
• Share ideas for improvement
You can be as brief or as detailed as you like.
This information helps shape what I focus on in the months ahead and, if elected, what I prioritise afterwards.
If You Would Like to Support the Campaign
This election matters.
Over the next few years, Essex will move towards a new unitary authority. The standards and priorities set now will shape that transition.
If you believe independence, accountability and fixing the basics are important, you can also indicate that on the same form.
There are options to:
• Receive updates
• Help deliver leaflets
• Host a poster
• Offer professional expertise
• Volunteer in other ways
There is no obligation. Listening comes first.
But if you would like to be involved, it would be very welcome.

Questions Voters May Wish to Ask
When engaging with any candidate, it is reasonable to ask:
• How will you gather and prioritise local concerns?
• Will you actively seek input across all villages in the division?
• How will you ensure feedback influences your decisions?
• Are you building a campaign based on local priorities or pre set political positions?
• How will you make sure you’re listening to residents more than your party?
Representation begins with listening.
In Summary
Whether you want to raise an issue, share an idea or help in a practical way, I would genuinely value your input.
This campaign is built around local priorities, not party instruction.
The form below is the starting point. Complete it below or click this link.
